The ICE YACHTS shipyard presents itself on the market with a brand new product, the ICE 62 TARGA, an exclusive and even easier sailing version of the already very fast ICE 60, which winks at owners looking for a high-performance, safe boat, but above all suitable for solo navigation and fast cruising with maximum comfort.
The ICE 62 Targa is a true fast cruiser of the highest quality with an incredible use of space, with an intriguing line that takes up the typical stylistic features of the shipyard by inserting functional details such as the distinctive rollbar with carbon T top that stands out from traditional bimini and allows a clear, safe and clean deck without giving up.
Derived from the powerful lines of the standard ICE 60, with a mix of contents inspired by our 62' and 70', it manages to enhance the characteristics of robustness, seaworthiness and performance that distinguish the shipyard and that have led it to success with the added unique and distinctive elegance given by the innovative deckhouse.
Modern design, we are talking about the inverted bow (scimitar) with a 1.3 m long carbon dolphin boat, it is the big brother and the natural development of the ICE 52, another Ice Yachts bestseller with over 15 examples produced to date.
On the hydrodynamic level, the water lines and appendages, this time characterized by an unprecedented draft at variable depth, from 2.30 to 3.80 meters, double rudder blades, bow thruster, bow and stern thruster retractable in order to ensure maximum ease of mooring.
Particular attention has been given to weight savings in order to be able to mount a 195 hp Yanmar engine that allows incredible performance even in the absence of wind. On the engine, it reaches and exceeds a top speed of 12 knots!!

The shell and deck are laminated in infusion from a female mold, the hull is made of hybrid fibers to combine the structural rigidity of carbon with the natural noise and vibration suppression qualities of glass fibers. The deck is full carbon to ensure lightness in the upper part and lower the center of gravity. The carbon structures are laminated on site and also made in infusion, becoming one with the hull and deck, eliminating creaks and noises. The deck, in addition to the classic gluing, is banded to the hull as well as all the bulkheads, creating a monolithic and very rigid structure.
These choices, in addition to containing weight, give the boat a solidity and robustness capable of withstanding the repeated stresses and heavy loads that are faced even in the most demanding navigations.
ICE 62 TARGA is equipped with a fin made of double Weldox steel with high mechanical characteristics and a numerically controlled milled lead torpedo that offer the advantage of reducing the weight of the ballast and therefore the total displacement of the boat with the same righting moment.
The hydraulic lifting system is by the Cariboni company and has a variable draft of 2.30/3.90 in order to obtain racer performance while sailing and at the same time guarantee entry into any port.
Thanks also to the larger bulb, it is possible to reduce heeling when sailing and roll when stopped at anchor very consistently.
Therefore, great power in gaits where this is essential and minimum displacement in gaits where this represents a brake, such as downwind gaits and motor navigation.
All this allows you to maintain very high averages in all conditions, both in racing and cruising, sailing or motoring.
The two rudders are studied and designed with cutting-edge technologies and allow impressive control even when the boat heels or subjected to large aerodynamic loads. The carbon construction always keeps a clear focus on the issue of safety, which is central both at the design and construction level.
The deck reflects the general lines of Felci Yacht Design projects, combining simplicity and style, elegance and efficiency, comfort and versatility.
The cockpit, characterized by large benches and comfortable backrests, is decidedly oversize and allows maximum mobility for large crews
At the stern there are two seats for the helmsman that hide a raft and a useful locker.
To facilitate access from the deck to the platform, there is a ladder fixed to the tailgate that closes at the same time as the tailgate is closed.
The large garage, a record in its category and almost at the level of that of a 70-footer, is designed to hold a 3.1-meter tender!!
In the garage, two electric winches/winches are provided for opening the hatch and handling the tender, always with a view to seeking comfort and ease of use.
